Loveseat Pete is an indie rock/alternative band based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The band was formed amidst the pandemic in 2020 by frontman Vincent Nigro. Accompanied by Jason Wenzel (bass), and Danny Mitchinson (guitar), their sound finds influences spanning genres. Thoughtful indie rock with notes of 90s/2000s grunge and pop, classic rock, and shoegaze, their sound leaves you with something to remember. The band released their debut EP God Damn, Give Up in September of 2021, garnering nearly 200,000 streams on Spotify since, in addition to being featured on popular playlists like Grand Jury Record’s “Jury Duty”, as well as the “r/listentothis” collective. Throughout the years, they have had the opportunity to play alongside acts such as Joyce Manor, glaive, Peter McPoland, and Sweet Pill, as well as countless others.
